Job Description
As a funding specialist, you will collaborate with Olsson leaders to strategize and develop funding solutions for key clients as well as large, long-range pursuits. You will provide expertise and guidance on federal spending, grant programs, and finance options for our public sector clients in addition to demonstrating and maintaining a broad knowledge of key federal and state funding policies and trends. You may serve as a project manager for specialized funding and grant administration contracts; manage scope, schedule, and budget. Periodic travel to our other office locations is required.
We have one position available and will consider candidates interested in working in a hybrid environment aligned with our Dallas, TX, Fort Worth, TX, Denver, CO, or Colorado Springs, CO offices.

Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, public administration, engineering, urban planning, or related field
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in public infrastructure industry or economic development
Experience developing funding and finance strategies for governments and non-profit programs
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with multiple deadlines and flexibility to adapt to unanticipated client requests for grant development support
